JUNIOR THEORY scolarship INFORMATION AND APPLICATION
The SRMTA Junior Theory Scholarship of $100 will be awarded to ONE student of an SRMTA Regina Branch member who received the highest mark in their Junior theory exam. Applications for the scholarship, along with a copy of theory exam results, must be received by no later than October 15 of each year.
Regulations:
1. Applicant must be a practical and/or theory student of an SRMTA Regina Branch Member in good standing.
2. Deadline for application is October 15 of each year.
3. Exams must have been completed between September of the previous year and August of the current year. Please submit the first page of your exam results below.
4. Exam marks will be considered from the Royal Conservatory of Music, Conservatory Canada or the Canadian National Conservatory of Music
5. Minimum mark to be considered is 75%.
6. Theory courses to be considered are the co-requisites for RCM-Level 5-8, Conservatory Canada-Grade 1-4 and Canadian National Conservatory of Music -Grade 5-8
7. In the case of a tie, other considerations will be taken into account by the scholarship committee.
