A Registered Music Teacher is:
...a professional teacher of music who is registered with the government of Saskatchewan. Teachers are also members of the Saskatchewan Registered Music Teachers’ Association and the Canadian Federation of Music Teachers’ Association.
...an experienced teacher – all members must have a minimum of two years’ teaching experience.
…an educated teacher - full RMT members hold at least one degree or diploma from a university, conservatory or recognised school of music.
Affiliate Members Level 1 and 2 have completed the equivalent of Grade 9 or 10 from a recognised conservatory of music.
